Artwork submission requirements

To optimize the quality of the final prints, the artwork files should also be in the following formats:

  • Preferred Formats: preferably vector files like EPS or Adobe Illustrator (AI), as these files can be scaled as images without losing quality.
  • Acceptable Alternative: PDF files should also have vector graphics, but the text must be outlinedand all layers preserved.
  • Unsupported Formats: The raster image formats JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and BMP are not accepted because they are unsuitable for high-resolution printing.

If your logo or designed image is not of a preferred type, our design team would be happy to vectorize it for you. Minor edits, such as a colour change, would not require payment; however, significant changes may be charged or complete redraw costs that start from AUD 45, excluding GST, depending on complexity.

Redraw Services

The redraw service is provided for customers who do not have vector-format artwork. It transforms a customer logo or design into a high-quality, print-ready vector format. The redraw service is usually charged at AUD 45 plus GST, but it may be subject to higher prices depending on the design's complexity. For a quote specific to your needs and artwork, please send us your existing artwork for team assessment.

Colour Specifications

Correct colour reproduction is essential to maintain brand consistency. To achieve this, please specify all Pantone Matching System (PMS) colour codes in your artwork files provided for printing. We do not accept CMYK or RGB colour specifications unless the print job pertains to full-colour digital printing. Our staff will gladly assist with any queries regarding sourcing PMS colour codes into your brand colours.

Font and Text Guidelines

To protect the integrity of your textural elements in printing:

  • Font Submission: To eliminate possible issues with font substitution, all fonts used in your design must be converted to outlines (curves).
  • Font Formats: TrueType Font (TTF) format is preferred if any font files are provided.

Converting text to outlines guarantees that the typography will appear exactly how it is intended to look, regardless of the fonts on our system.

Artwork Proofing

Proof will be prepared before the start of production, allowing you to see the digital proof of your umbrella design. The design proof will confirm your logo's placement and appearance on the selected umbrella. After we receive your signed approval of this proof, production will commence. This step is vital to verify that all design materials meet your expectations.
